The History Of Wayne Larson Collision Specialists
Originally located across
from McDonald’s, Wayne
Larson quickly became
known in the Ames area for
high-quality auto body and
collision repair back in 1975.
The business quickly outgrew the
small shop and moved to 620 E.
Lincoln Way in 1977.

The shop continued to grow and
build a solid foundation with
employees including Scott Hurst
(45 years) and Kevin Larson (20
years) in the shop and Kelly
Davenport (33 years) in the office.

You can now find either MaryJo or
Tanya in the office during the
week.
Continuing with growth and
demand for quality work,
Wayne Larson Collision
Specialists moved to their
present day location at 2017 E.
Lincoln Way in 1990.

We feature free loaner cars
from Enterprise and lifetime
guarantees on body repairs &
paint and guaranteed paint
matching.

Wayne is still involved in the
business and day-to-day
operations are handled by his
son, Dane Larson.
Conveniently located on East Lincoln Way in
Ames, Wayne Larson Collision Specialists is
